Monday we received our travel package – Passports, Visas and Airline tickets. Originally we were leaving Monday morning, Jan 10th, flying Delta to JFK and then on to Accra arriving Tuesday morning. Now we are leaving Monday evening flying British Airways to London. After a five hour lay over we then fly to Accra arriving Tuesday night in time to go to bed. I like the new schedule but Stephaney would have preferred the shorter trip. It would have been a little more challenging to get everything done that we need to do at the last minute – sell the car, get the remaining items out of the house to friends and then to the airport. Having Monday morning to complete this will be very helpful.
